Gay is not a party
That you get invited to
Gay is not a doormat
For you to wipe your shoe
Gay is just a form of straight
But with another two
Love is not a fiery hoop
You should have to jump through
Gay is not a cold to cure
With antibiotics
Love’s not legislatable
It’s just not politics
Marriage’s not illusionary
There isn’t any tricks
Freedom’s like a super-glue
When its applied it sticks.
