Dandelion dreams are of soft breezes
Whispering in the grass of distant lands,
Where their petals lift up and drift across
Lakes and rivers to new stands.
Dandelion dreams are of warming sunlight
Caressing them as they shift and settle,
And quenching rains to dampen
And wash the dust off every petal.
Dandelion dreams are of elves and girls
Who pick with soft and gentle touch,
Sweetly blow a kiss of petals
With meaning of so much.
Dandelion dreams are of bliss filled sleep
In the softening summer light
Gathered with their kindred
In the peaceful moonlit night.

I am. I was on a roll last night. I love the idea of a prompt per day so I’m trying to catch up to your other contributors. I hope it doesn’t diminish the quality, although I tend to fly with my writing and revisit published posts later. I have a theory it’s no good writing and not sharing, even if it’s only a draft.
Cheers
