And question right from wrong?

Did he start to hum the verse

And determine to sing the song?

Did he think before the taking

Weary of the moment next?

Were there questions left unanswered?

Was his inner guide perplexed?

Did he think before the having?

Was he sounded by regret?

Did he close the book of maps?

Did he hope to soon forget?

Did he think before the ending?

Did he feel her flood of pain?

Did he ponder on her innocence

And of those who still remain?
